"We've got a local place called The Dog Laundry, which is just that - a laundromat for your dog. Mind you, you can't just put the dog in the washer and go read a magazine, but it's almost as convenient.

The Dog Laundry is hidden in the back of an unassuming brick building, located right next to the police community outreach center and, ironically, a full-service groomer's on the other side.

For $20, you have use of the laundry's deep bath tubs, each of which comes with an apron for you (so you don't get a bath, too), shampoo and conditioner for the dog, ear wipes, a cloth for washing the face, paws, and behind, and all the help you need from the very knowledgeable owner and staff who are happy to show first-timers what is used (and how) for the best results."
